Transforming your garden with decorative aggregates is an exciting project, but with so many shapes, sizes, and textures available, it’s natural to have a few questions before you start. Whether you’re wondering how much gravel you need to cover a driveway or which slate chippings are best for pathways, we’re here to help. Explore our frequently asked questions below to find the expert advice you need to landscape with confidence.
Picking the best fence panel for your garden depends on your style and needs. At AG Fencing, we’ve got lots of different fencing materials to choose from. You can choose from our range of classic wooden panels, low-maintenance composite ones, fancy decorative ones, or simple picket fences. If you are not sure which one is the best choice for you, we can help you find just the right one for your garden.
To make your fence panels last longer, how often you need to maintain them can change based on the weather where you live. Usually, we recommend doing maintenance once a year to keep your fence in good shape. But, if you live in a place that’s often moist and wet, you might only need to do it every two years.
Closeboard and Featheredge Fence Panels are essentially the same; the difference lies mainly in the terminology used by suppliers or manufacturers. Both are made from vertical boards that overlap, fixed to horizontal rails. This makes for a strong, long-lasting fence that looks traditional. Whether they’re called Closeboard or Featheredge, these panels use the same stuff and are built the same way, giving your garden a secure, private border that looks smooth and solid.
